Job Title: Medical Director - Oncology

We are seeking a Medical Director to lead our growing team of medical oncologists, hematologists, and advanced practice providers. Join the largest provider of cancer care in our region, with nine cancer centers. Our program is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for a passionate, dynamic physician leader to drive and direct our program's continued growth towards becoming a national model of excellence in community cancer care. This position is a high-visibility role within the cancer program leadership team and involves contributing to the strategic direction of the cancer program.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical oversight of the medical oncology program and team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to increase integration and alignment across facilities.
• Lead recruitment, retention, mentorship, quality, and growth initiatives for physicians and APPs.
• Represent medical oncology services to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives for the oncology department and the broader cancer program.
• Serve as the public face for the oncology group in marketing and community events.
• Drive operational standardization and integration efforts.
• Lead quality and safety programs.
• Participate in clinical decision-making and leadership meetings.
• Develop policies, procedures, and educational programs.
• Assist in budget planning and prioritization.
• Practice at least 3 days per week in clinic initially.

Compensation and Benefits:
