Join a dedicated cancer center team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and provide exceptional care to the West Michigan communities. This facility is part of an expansive cancer network, ensuring comprehensive support and collaboration among various specialties to enhance patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform full-spectrum hematology and oncology patient care, including new patient referrals, active treatment, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for patients, families, and staff.
• Deliver care across two facilities, ensuring continuity of services:
  • Trinity Health Richard J. Lacks Sr. Cancer Center
  • Trinity Health Johnson Family Cancer Center
• Provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary oncology service line with access to subspecialties such as Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and more.
• Utilize extensive support from ancillary staff and programs including Advanced Practice Providers, Care Management, and Nurse Navigation.
• Engage in research and clinical trials with affiliation to the University of Michigan.
• Work with a fully-assisted referral network to support patient needs.
• New graduates are welcome to apply (must be board-certified within 2 years).

Qualifications:

• Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology (required)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must achieve Board Certification within 2 years)
• Must possess a Michigan medical license, or be willing to obtain one
• DEA certification or willingness to obtain
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Clean malpractice history is preferred

License and Certification Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
