Hematology/Oncology opening in NW & Central Ohio

Location: Findlay, OH

Full-Time & Permanent position seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist to join a comprehensive practice.

Practice Features:

• Fully comprehensive, CoC-accredited, stand-alone regional cancer center
• Services include Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology (2 linear accelerators, 1 CT Simulator), Infusion (18 chairs), Pharmacy, Lab, Genetic Counseling, Clinical & Financial Navigation, Nutrition Services, Clinical Trials, and GYN-Oncology
• On-site laboratory and pharmacy with a board-certified oncology pharmacist
• Infusion and radiation therapy services
• Care navigation, genetic counseling, dietician, clinical trials, nursing triage support, tumor registry, social worker
• Radiation Oncology & GYN-Oncology available on-site
• Robust general surgery program and specialty services including ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Pulmonology, and GI
• Care team model with 1 dedicated registered nurse and 1 medical assistant per physician
• Chemo-certified RNs for inpatient chemotherapy administration
• Support from 2 full-time nurse practitioners for outpatient practice

Practice Details:

• Approximately 1200 new patients annually
• Clinic hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday
• Patient mix: 50% Hematology / 50% Oncology; common cases include breast, colon, lung, prostate
• Inpatient call: 1:4, 7 consecutive days
• Hospitalists admit all patients
• Access to Mayo Clinic eConsult services, eTumor Boards, and other educational opportunities
• Integrated EMR system with Cerner throughout the health system

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary, wRVU bonus, loan assistance, signing bonus, relocation allowance, CME stipend
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) qualifying employer
