Practice Details

• Call: 1:5 ratio, equally divided among providers for weekdays, weekends, and holidays over one year. (Weekend call: Friday 5 p.m. to Monday 7 a.m.; Weekday call: 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.) Future plans may increase to 1:8.
• Outpatient: 4.5 clinic days per week with one afternoon off or one full day off every other week. Possibility of an additional day off if longer clinical days are scheduled.
• Inpatient: Hematology/Oncology patients are admitted by the Hospitalist team, with consultations from oncology/hematology. Support for inpatient chemotherapy patients as needed. Future support from an Advanced Practice Provider is planned.
• Outreach: Weekly outreach for one day per week.
• FTE: While 1.0 FTE is preferred, candidates open to reduced clinical FTE between 0.8 - 1.0 for better work-life balance or to pursue research or educational endeavors.
