Accolades Physician Resources is assisting a leading Alabama medical center with an Hematology/Oncology physician opportunity. Join a team of three in Oncology with 1:4 call, and work in a traditional I/P and O/P setting with clinic hours 8am–4:30pm.

The position includes on-site Radiation Therapy and Infusion Center, at one location adjacent to the Hospital Cancer Center, with access to a multidisciplinary tumor board and educational precepting for DO students and IM residents.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in hematology/oncology.
• Ability to obtain Alabama medical license.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary tumor board.
• Willingness to participate in education and supervision of students/residents.

Responsibilities

• Join a 3-person Oncology team with call 1:4.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient oncology care; clinic Mon-Fri 8:00–4:30.
• Onsite radiation therapy and infusion center.
• Practice at 1 location next to Hospital Cancer Center.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists; participate in tumor board.
• Precept DO medical students and IM residents.
