Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for hematology and oncology patients.
• Diagnose, manage, and treat complex medical hematology/oncology cases.
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary care planning.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, nursing, pharmacy and ancillary services.
• Maintain timely medical documentation in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes, options and prognosis.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders.

Diagnose, manage, and treat complex medical oncology and hematology cases.

Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary care planning.

Collaborate with hospital leadership, nursing, pharmacy, and ancillary services to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record.

Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and prognosis.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
