HealthYes Staffing Network seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Hematology/Oncology physician for a permanent, hospital-employed position in Southeast Alabama. Join three experienced physicians serving a 13-county region with immediate patient volume and access to on-site infusion and radiation therapy.

The role combines inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with a Monday–Friday clinic schedule, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. hours, 1:4 call rotation, and a strong multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and licensure eligibility in Alabama.
• Completion or anticipated completion of Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat malignant and nonmalignant hematologic conditions.
• Provide comprehensive care for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
• Develop individualized chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted-therapy, and supportive-care plans.
• Manage patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Oversee outpatient chemotherapy and infusion treatment.
• Review labs, pathology, imaging, and molecular testing results.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor conferences and coordinate care with other specialists.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, options, and outcomes.

HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician for a permanent, hospital-employed opportunity with an established regional cancer program in Southeast Alabama.

Join three experienced physicians serving a strong 13-county referral area. The position combines inpatient and outpatient care with immediate patient volume, outpatient chemotherapy, on-site infusion and radiation therapy, and a multidisciplinary cancer-care team.

Experienced physicians and Hematology/Oncology fellows completing training in 2027 are encouraged to apply. J-1 waiver and H-1B visa sponsorship are available for qualified candidates.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Pathology, Radiology, Palliative Care, and other specialists
• Participate in the shared Hematology/Oncology call rotation
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Support quality-improvement and patient-safety initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Completion or anticipated completion of an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license
• Eligible for appropriate hospital and clinical privileges
• Current fellows graduating in 2027 are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and multidisciplinary-care skills

• Estimated base compensation of $450,000–$550,000 annually

The compensation range is an estimate based on current Hematology/Oncology market data and comparable permanent opportunities. The final offer will depend on training, experience, board-certification status, productivity expectations, and the employer’s approved compensation structure.

Visa Sponsorship

J-1 waiver and H-1B visa sponsorship are available for qualified physicians. Sponsorship remains subject to immigration-program eligibility, processing timelines, and final employer approval.
