Join Our Hematology Oncology Team in Beautiful Colorado Springs, CO!

The Cancer Care team in Colorado Springs is seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to enhance our exceptional group. Our practice provides comprehensive cancer care, featuring a highly collaborative environment with a focus on innovation and patient-centered services. As part of a growing facility, you will have the privilege to serve a diverse patient population while enjoying the stunning landscape and vibrant community of Colorado Springs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide general patient care in hematology and oncology.
• Coverage for two hospitals within a 12-mile radius: Memorial Hospital North and Memorial Hospital Central.
• Collaborate with an enthusiastic team including nurse navigators, social workers, and nutritionists.
• Participate in high-level tumor boards and utilize the latest clinical trial options.
• Manage a typical patient load of 18-20 patients per day.
• Engage primarily in outpatient care, treating adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain a call schedule of 1:9 with minimal responsibilities during call weeks.
• Access to the University of Colorado School of Medicine's resources for tumor board discussions and research.
• Participate in educational opportunities, including the potential to teach medical students.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in both Hematology and Oncology.
• Fellowship-trained with completion prior to start date.
• Active Colorado medical license or in the process of obtaining one.
• Availability to begin working promptly.
• Clean malpractice history is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:
