Colorado Hematology/Oncology Position

We have an outstanding Hematology/Oncology opportunity in Colorado. Here are the details:

The Opportunity

• Modern, 340-bed hospital in a suburban Colorado city
• Start as soon as possible; ongoing until a permanent provider is hired. Permanent positions also available.
• Full-time preferred; part-time flexible based on availability.
• Open to both Hematology (HEM) and Oncology (ONC) roles, with a focus on ONC.
• Collaborate with three full-time hematology/oncology providers.
• Support staff includes 2 nurse practitioners and 1 physician assistant.
• Subspecialties include general surgery, trauma surgery, nephrology, and ENT.
• Breast surgeon participates in tumor boards.
• Other services: radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and more.
• Good surgical support, including part-time gynecologic oncology.
• Epic EMR system.

Practice Details

• Start date: May or June 2017; ongoing (locums or locums to perm).
• Call 1:5, mainly consults and phone calls.
• Hospitalists handle admits; oncology primarily consultative.
• Patient volume: approximately 12 patients per day.
• Outreach available but not required.

Minimum Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility.
