Hematology / Oncology Physician at Healthcare Connections

Summary

We are seeking a Board-Certified / Eligible Hematology / Oncology Physician for locum tenens coverage in California. The assignment involves providing patient care at an Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and call coverage on weekends. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing a daily patient volume of approximately 10, including new patient evaluations.

Locums Hematology / Oncology Need in California

We have a client searching for a provider available for locum tenens to provide vacation coverage. Details of the assignment are as follows:

1. Coverage Dates: 12/21/24 - Ongoing
2. Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with night call, plus 24-hour remote call coverage on Friday through Sunday
3. Average daily census: 10 patients per day, including 1-2 new patients
4. EMR Systems: iKnowMed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
5. Setting: Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center
