Opportunity:
- Seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist for their Cancer Center.
- Candidates can be BE or BC; BC is highly preferred due to practice complexity, with the first physician often onsite alone.
- Full-time outpatient position, with minimal hospital rounds.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations; minimum 32 patient contact hours plus on-call duties.
- Responsibilities include practice call and inpatient care for Oncology patients; no weekends.
- The practice is in a rebuilding phase.
- Desired start date: ASAP.
- Approximately 1200 new cancer cases annually.
- Average patients per day: 15-25.
- Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2.
