An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated and skilled oncologist for a full-time role in a state-of-the-art Cancer Center. BE or BC, but BC is HIGHLY PREFERRED based on the complexity of the practice and the fact that the first physician will be onsite alone most of the time.
Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, and a few hospital rounds.
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (minimum 32 patient contact hours) + on call.
Responsibilities include practice call and inpatient care for Oncology patients (no weekends).
The practice is currently in a rebuilding phase.
Desired start date: ASAP.
Approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year.
Average number of patients per day: 15-25.
Facility's Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 2.
State-of-the-art Cancer Center with Commission on Cancer Accreditation since 1984.
On-site Radiation Oncology department.
Robust Oncology supportive services.
24-bay outpatient Oncology infusion department with on-site pharmacist.
On-site laboratory services.
Electronic Medical Records: Epic.
Access to nationwide clinical trials through UC-NCORP.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area.
