Job summary

Atrium Health’s Levine Cancer Institute in Huntersville, NC, seeks a Hematology/Oncology APP for outpatient infusion center care. The role is full-time (40 hours) with four 10-hour days, 8 am–6 pm, Monday–Friday, and no nights, weekends, or on-call.

Graduation from an accredited NP program with North Carolina licensure, prescriptive privileges, and DEA license are required. BLS certification is mandatory; 1+ year of APP experience in hematology/oncology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP program. Current license to practice as a NP in North Carolina.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required. BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
• Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred as an APP. Hematology/Oncology experience required.
• Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, high acuity work environment. Able to perform thorough history and physical assessment. Able to work with multidisciplinary team.
