UC Davis Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for the new Folsom, CA clinic.
The physician will perform all the duties of a clinical hematologist and medical oncologist with a commitment of 100% clinical effort (80% direct patient care and 20% indirect care/ administrative time). The position is based at the Folsom Office Building (FOB) opening 9/1/2025, and the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCDCCC). The physician may be asked to see patients at other UCDH clinics as needed, with consultation and agreement.

Department Overview:
The Division of Hematology Oncology is part of the Department of Internal Medicine at UC Davis Health, comprising around 35 faculty, research staff, and clinical staff, with services located at UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, Sacramento clinics, and Folsom.
Work Schedule & Clinical Details:
The physician will see patients in outpatient clinics, scheduled for six half-days/week in person, plus virtual visits, and one half-day/week at UCDCCC. Clinic volume is expected to be four to eight patients per session, including new and follow-up patients. The work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with two half-days of administrative time and some Saturday clinics.
