Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Hematology Oncology team in Detroit. The role involves comprehensive assessment, care coordination, and administration of oral and IV cancer therapies for a mixed outpatient/inpatient caseload.

The position requires a Master's in Nursing, an active RN license for NP candidates, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Experience in hematology/oncology and EPIC EHR proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (for NP candidates).
• Current State RN license (for NP candidates).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, work-up, and coordinated care for hematology/oncology outpatients and inpatients.
• Manage a dynamic caseload of ~14 outpatient and 4–15 inpatient patients daily (50/50 split).
• Administer and oversee oral and IV anticancer therapies.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and manage therapy side effects.
• Deliver survivorship care and long-term follow-up.
