Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, seeks experienced nurse practitioner to provide comprehensive patient care in Hematology/Oncology, including assessment, ordering labs, interpreting results and managing chemotherapy side effects.

The role requires MN RN licensure with NP certification preferred, BLS/ACLS, and hospital-based experience in Hem-Onc/BMT, ICU, Cardiology or Internal Medicine. Relocation may be provided and shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Minnesota RN license and certification as a ACNP or ANP preferred.
• FNP certification, preferred hospital-based nursing experience in Hem-Onc/BMT, ICU, Cardiology or Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive patient assessment and manage chemotherapy side effects.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and radiologic exams; diagnose and treat.
• Coordinate discharge planning and provide educational support to patients and families.
