Job summary

IQVIA is seeking experienced Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to support a late-stage AML program. The role involves field-based scientific exchange with investigators, hematologists, and oncologists, and supports Medical Affairs and clinical development through engagement across the oncology community.

The MSL will develop scientific relationships, communicate data, and gather insights on disease biology, MRD, relapse risk, and evolving standards of care, while traveling up to 70% of the time

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree required; PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, DNP, NP, PA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience or relevant clinical experience within hematology and/or oncology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hematology/oncology with demonstrated therapeutic area expertise.
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific and clinical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, academic investigators, community hematology/oncology leaders, and priority institutions across the assigned territory.
• Engage in compliant, peer-to-peer scientific discussions regarding AML, hematologic malignancies, immunotherapy approaches, MRD, relapse risk, and evolving standards of care.
• Communicate complex clinical information clearly to diverse external stakeholders including physicians, researchers, pharmacists, and care teams.
• Support disease-state education, scientific programs, advisory boards, investigator meetings and other activities in accordance with approved materials.
• Identify medical education needs and serve as a primary contact for investigators initiating investigator-initiated studies.
