Job summary

GRMC is seeking a Hematology Oncology - Medical Assistant who will provide safe, quality care to a group of patients for designated time frames, in accordance with American Association of Medical Assistants guidelines.

The position requires certification or eligibility, completion of MA/Nursing programs, BLS, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, EMR proficiency, and teamwork within a GRMC care team.

Qualifications

• Certificate from a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program.
• Completion of an associate or college education program in nursing or allied health from a verifiable educational institution.
• Two (2) years of full-time experience as a Medical Assistant preferred within the past five (5) years.
