Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Beachwood is seeking a dedicated caregiver to join our Family Health and Surgery Center team. This full-time role supports patient care across screenings, treatments, and registrations, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional evenings or Saturdays.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an approved medical assisting program or relevant military medical training, BLS certification, and completion of a clinical externship or substantial clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program OR military training as a hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. If you do not hold this certification, you must obtain it during your new hire period.
• Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing screenings and treatments by gathering and updating information related to health maintenance, identifying medication changes, updating allergy information, collecting specimens, performing tests and documenting patient care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties, such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
