Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System's Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Hematology and Oncology Ambulatory Operations. You will assist with screenings, specimen collection and patient care, and help keep exam rooms and equipment ready for daily clinics.

Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with potential evening and Saturday rotations, contribute to accurate registration and data entry, and ensure adherence to safety and infection control

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program or military medical training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained during hire.
• Completion of a clinical externship or substantial clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments by updating health information and documenting patient care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
