Job summary
Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Program Director to oversee accreditation and governance of a Hematology/Oncology fellowship program. The Director will supervise fellows, ensure ethical and professional development, and liaise with the Chair of GME and the Department of Internal Medicine to maintain high standards of patient care under ACGME requirements.
The role includes curriculum development, fellow recruitment, and ongoing evaluation of trainees and faculty, with reporting to relevant
Qualifications
- MD/DO required with Hematology/Oncology Board eligibility or certification.
- Experience supervising Hem Onc fellows, residents and medical students.
- Minimum 3 years experience as Hem Onc faculty.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fellowship curriculum.
- Supervise fellows and ensure safe patient care.
- Review rotations and mentoring of fellows.
- Recruit fellows and participate in evaluation of trainees and faculty.
- Ensure reporting to regulatory agencies and adherence to accreditation requirements.
- Contribute to medical literature and participate in academic committees.
