Job summary

UHA University Health Associates in Morgantown, WV, seeks a Hematologist/Oncologist to serve as Program Director for the Medical Oncology - Hematology Fellowship Program. You will lead curriculum development, fellow recruitment, faculty engagement, and accreditation compliance within WVU Cancer Institute.

The position focuses on educational leadership, program growth, and collaboration with institutional leadership to sustain a high-quality fellowship experience.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree required.
• Board certification in hematology and/or medical oncology preferred.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall educational and administrative leadership for the Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship Program.
• Oversee fellowship recruitment, selection, orientation, evaluation, and advancement.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum that meets ACGME requirements.
• Ensure continued program accreditation and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor fellows and support their clinical, academic, and professional development.
• Collaborate with faculty, division leadership, and GME leadership to improve the training program.
• Participate in clinical care, teaching, and other academic activities consistent with the faculty appointment.
