Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Hematology/Oncology at Lankenau Medical Center to lead oncology pharmacotherapy optimization for both inpatient and outpatient care.

The role includes formulary management, evaluation of new antineoplastic agents, and collaboration with informatics to ensure safe, effective EHR tools, plus staff education to support evidence-based use and stewardship initiatives.

Qualifications

• PGY2 oncology residency required (or 4 years of clinical pharmacy with 2 years in oncology).
• Experience with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and supportive care.
• BCOP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient and outpatient oncology formulary and evaluate new antineoplastic agents.
• Determine appropriate site of care (inpatient vs outpatient) and oversee off-label/non-formulary uses.
• Collaborate with pharmacy informatics to develop, maintain, and enhance EHR tools for oncology care.
• Promote evidence-based antineoplastic utilization through staff education, monitoring, and stewardship initiatives.
• Provide consultation to internal/external clinicians on treatment policies and education.
