Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking a per diem Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for Hematology/Oncology within UHealth. The APRN delivers comprehensive care, assesses patients, and may prescribe medications while collaborating with the medical team in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include conducting exams, ordering tests, and coordinating care transitions, with 2+ years of oncology experience preferred. Part-time, with a focus on quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Valid Florida APRN license and board certification.
• CPR and ACLS required; OCN or AOCNP preferred or within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and psychosocial status; develop treatment plans with physician collaboration.
• Prescribe medications and order tests following protocol; ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings; participate in rounds.

Education

Master’s degree in relevant field

Florida APRN license

CPR and ACLS

OCN or AOCNP preferred

CITI certification within 3 months
