Founded in 1861, Staten Island University Hospital is a 714-bed teaching hospital located in New York City’s fastest-growing borough. It comprises two large campuses, community health centers, and labs, serving Staten Island, the NYC metropolitan area, and international patients.

Staten Island offers diverse neighborhoods, parks, cultural attractions, and easy access to Brooklyn, New Jersey, Manhattan via ferry or car—combining suburban living with city amenities. It provides a unique blend of breathtaking views, culture, education, and diverse communities.

The Division is part of the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, which treats over 16,000 cancer patients annually with access to more than 200 specialists across 25+ sub-specialties. The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is a hub for scientific discovery in molecular medicine, genetics, oncology, and more, collaborating with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory to advance cancer research and treatments.

Northwell Health is New York State’s largest healthcare provider, with 23 hospitals, 600+ outpatient facilities, and nearly 15,000 physicians. We serve over two million residents annually and are committed to innovation, education, and community health. Our team includes over 66,000 employees, with a focus on advancing medicine at the Feinstein Institute and training future medical professionals at the Zucker School of Medicine and related institutions.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Physicians are employed through Northwell Health Physician Partners.
