Job summary

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is actively seeking a Hematologist-Oncologist to join our Cancer Medicine Division. This physician will expand the delivery of cutting-edge therapies for patients with hematological malignancies and support our Cellular Therapy Program.

The physician will join our team of four hematologists, with potential for adjunct academic appointment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and leadership roles within the malignant hematology

Qualifications

• Board-certified, or Board Eligible in Hematology or Medical Oncology.
• Experience in cellular therapy / CAR-T or Stem Cell Transplant desired.
• Clinical research experience desired.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Join the Cancer Medicine Division in Jacksonville, expanding therapies for hematologic malignancies.
• Support the Cellular Therapy Program and collaborate with other specialists.
• Pursue leadership opportunities within malignant hematology and cancer medicine.

Job description

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is actively seeking a Hematologist -Oncologist to join our Cancer Medicine Division. This physician will expand the delivery of cutting-edge therapies for patients with hematological malignancies and support our Cellular Therapy Program. The physician will join our team of four hematologists, and 2 inpatient based onco-hospitalists. Our state-of-the-art cellular therapy and stem cell transplant unit opened in August of 2026 on the downtown campus of Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville.

Your Expertise and Background

• Board-certified, or Board Eligible in Hematology or Medical Oncology
• Additional experience in cellular therapy / CAR-T or Stem Cell Transplant is desired.
• Clinical research experience is desired.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care.
• Aligned with the clinical, research and scholarly mission of our program.
