Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years related research/lab experience with a Bachelor’s degree or one year related research/lab experience with a Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory research experiments and record results.
• Troubleshoot procedures if results are unexpected and recommend alternatives.
• Accurately record work and analyze data.
• Independently evaluate data and contribute to research design; train lab staff in procedures and equipment.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation by describing methods and techniques; stay updated on new techniques.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.
