Job summary

Firetrol, founded in 1984, is a national leader in fire protection and life safety services. We are seeking a Helper/Trainee to join our team of over 1,000 professionals to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems on site.

The role offers hands-on training under licensed technicians, opportunities for overtime, and benefits upon joining. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in fire protection.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems or construction; training will be provided.
• Clean background and ability to pass a drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of fire protection equipment and service, repair and maintenance under supervision of a licensed Technician.
• Assist with diagnosing and evaluating systems during servicing and inspections under supervision.
• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and employees professionally and respectfully.
• Overtime, nights, weekends and on-call hours may be required.

This position will involve assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of fire protection equipment and the service, repair and maintenance of fire protection systems under direct supervision of a licensed Technician.
• Assist with diagnosing and evaluating systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections under direct supervision of a licensed Technician.
• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.
• Some overtime, nights, weekends and on-call hours may be required.
