MSS Solutions, LLC is expanding and has an opening for a Helper- Mechanical. This role offers growth opportunities for individuals eager to support skilled trades and contribute fresh ideas to serve customers.

You will assist with general work, support mechanics and foremen to keep projects on schedule, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. A reliable transportation and good communication are required.

• Knowledge of HVAC or general construction required.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights and some weekends.
• Reliable transportation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general work activities under direction to complete tasks.
• Support the mechanic, foreman, and superintendent to keep projects on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job space and follow safety policies.
• Communicate with management, supervisors, and customers as needed.
• Assist in unloading trucks and collaborating with team to finish projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with general work activities per the direction of others to complete the activities.
• Support the mechanic, foreman, and superintendent to complete the project on time.
• Provide the best quality and productive work without constant reminders.
• Communicate with management, superintendent, and customers.
• Communicate with mechanics, foreman and superintendents
• Assist in unloading trucks
• Maintain a clean and organized job space
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Observe, report and correct unsafe work environment
• Collaborate with other workers to complete project
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time

Qualifications and Requirements

• Some knowledge of HVAC or general construction
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, and some weekends)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have reliable form of communication
• Must show up on time in the appropriate attire and professionally present yourself
• Must bring your own hand tools; trade specific specialty tools will be required as time goes on

• Ability to communicate clearly with Foreman and follow direction

• Must successfully pass a background check & drug test
• Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
• Material Handling:? lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs. frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing the position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).?

Work Environment: Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places.
