Albina Co. Inc. is seeking a dependable Shop Helper / General Laborer to join our production team in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will assist with material handling, operate basic shop equipment, and support machine operators in various metal fabrication tasks.

The role offers opportunities to learn new skills, advance within the company, and work on a swing shift in a demanding but rewarding setting. A valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Dependable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic math and measurement skills preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and prior manufacturing or construction experience a plus, not required.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, yard, and equipment.
• Assist with material handling, cutting, grinding, end finishing, and packaging of completed jobs.
• Assist machine operators with production and metal bending processes.
• Learn to operate shop machinery, including saws, drill presses, threading, flaring, and facing machines.
• Operate forklifts and other mobile lift equipment upon completion of required training.
• Perform basic measurements, calculations, and equipment maintenance as skills develop.
• Properly care for company tools and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe, productive work environment.

SHOP HELPER / GENERAL LABOR

Albina Co. is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our production team as a Shop Helper / General Laborer. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn new skills, operate equipment, and advance within the company.

SWING SHIFT POSITION

Drug-Test Required

This is a physically demanding position. Successfully applicant must have the ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly & stand for 4hrs at a time.

Must be able to read, write and speak English to complete paperwork and communicate with co-workers.

Forklift and loading experience highly preferred
