Job summary

Taylor Forge Engineered systems, Inc. is seeking a Helper for the Tulsa plant. You will perform general labor duties, assist in housekeeping, and support various departments on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties as directed (e.g. grinding, loading/unloading trucks and railcars, bricking furnaces).
• Sweep and clean shop floors, offices, break rooms, and bathrooms.
• Keep work area clean and perform housekeeping duties around the plant as required.
• Operate jib cranes and forklifts for moving material within the plant.
• Report abnormal conditions of equipment to Foreman.

Helper I# Helper ITulsa, OK 74117## OverviewJob ShiftFirst Shift## Description# JOB SUMMARYTo perform helper duties in any department within the plant and to sweep and clean shop floors, offices, break rooms, and bathrooms.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* Perform general laborer duties as directed (i.e. grinding, loading and unloading of trucks and railcars, bricking furnace).* Sweep and clean shop floors, offices, break rooms, and bathrooms.* Keep working area clean and perform housekeeping duties around the plant as required (i.e. pickup tools, roll-up hoses and cables, sweep).* Report abnormal conditions of equipment to Foreman.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES* Work in a safe and secure manner and comply with the safety rules and procedures.* Assist in performing small repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.* Operate jib cranes and forklifts for the moving of material, components, and equipment from location to location within the plant.## Qualifications# QUALIFICATIONS* Capable of lifting 50 lbs. up to waist.* Requires up to 6 months of job related experience.WORKING ENVIRONMENT* Exposure to dirt grease, smoke, and fumes.* Exposure to normal shop noises of grinding, chipping, high pressure gas burners, and repair operations.* Moderate physical exertion required.* Exposure to inside and outside weather conditions.* Some visual and mental attention required.*EOE/Veterans/Disabled*
