Job summary

Mercurio Heating & Air in Tacoma, WA, seeks an Electrical Helper to assist licensed electricians on residential service projects. You will gain hands-on experience with panel upgrades, lighting installs, and wiring, while maintaining safety and professionalism on customer sites.

Requirements include at least 1 year electrical exposure, NEC knowledge, and your own basic tools. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed; drug-free and customer-friendly demeanor is required for

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of electrical experience required.
• Knowledge of NEC Code standards.
• Must provide your own basic electrical hand tools.
• Valid, clean driver's license (background check will be performed).
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Professional appearance: clean-cut, neat, and customer-friendly.
• Polite, well-spoken, and able to interact with residential customers.
• Must be reliable, hard-working, and drug-free (we're a drug-free company).
• Experience with residential customers is a plus.
• Strong eagerness to learn and willingness to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Electricians on residential electrical service projects, including:
• Electrical panel upgrades and replacements
• Indoor and outdoor lighting installation
• Running electrical circuits
• Installing ceiling fans and other residential fixtures
• Support with generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS) installations.
• Help run conduit, pull wire, and complete all necessary steps for successful project completion.
• Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Helper Electrical (2025-1205)

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Electrical Helper to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with experienced Electrical Service Technicians to assist with a wide range of residential electrical installation and repair projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with some electrical experience who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the trade.
