SOUTHERN BEVERAGE COMPANY is seeking a Delivery Helper to assist a Delivery Driver in safe, accurate, and timely delivery of beverage products to retail customers. The role involves physical labor, customer interaction, and ensuring products are delivered and stocked according to company standards.

The position includes loading/unloading, stock rotation, order verification, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness for daily routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, or labor experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading beverage products from delivery trucks.
• Deliver products to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores.
• Transport products safely using hand trucks, carts, or manual lifting.
• Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) standards.
• Build and maintain product displays.
• Verify delivery quantities and obtain customer signatures.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Help maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles.
• Handle empty kegs, pallets, and returns.
