Chambers Bottling Company L L C in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Beverage Delivery Route Driver to service local accounts, merchandise shelves and displays to company standards, and maintain back stock and accurate transactions.

You will operate a company vehicle, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work outdoors in varying weather. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with 0–3 years of general work experience and a valid, clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-3 years of general work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Local delivery experience preferred; 6 months verifiable driving experience.
• Prior grocery store/CPG experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and merchandise products to small store accounts.
• Rotate and merchandise shelves and displays to company standards.
• Maintain back stock and keep coolers and shelves clean.
• Accurately account for all cases and customer transactions.
• Drive and operate a pallet jack as needed.

Objective:The Beverage Delivery Route Driver’s primary function is to deliver and service products to small store accounts. They are responsible for merchandising shelves, racks and displays to company standards.Accountabilities:Must be able to safely and correctly operate a company vehicle under all types of circumstances, including intercity travel and maneuvering in the close confines of customer facilities.Responsible for delivering, rotating and merchandising products on shelves, displays and all cold equipment.Maintain back stock in an organized mannerResponsible for keeping coolers, racks and shelves cleanResponsible for accurate accounting for all cases and customer transactionsCollection of any breakage or out of date productsAbility to establish positive and strong relationships with all customer as well as providing superior customer service.Subject to working outdoors in the elements (high/low temperatures, rain, sleet, snow etc.)May be required to perform other duties as assignedHigh School diploma or GED preferred0-3 years of general work experienceAbility to repetitively lift, pull, bend, stoop squat, push/ pull up to 50 lbsOperate and maneuver a pallet jack with a weight load of approximately 2500 lbs.Work with minimal supervision; be a self-starter, team player and have motivation to learnBe reliable, honest & trustworthyExcellent planning and organizational skillsValid driver’s license and excellent driving record are requiredPreferred Experience:Local delivery experience preferred and/or 6 months of verifiable driving experiencePrior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus
