Responsibilities

• Safely assist the driver in picking up trash and disposing of it in the truck.
• Operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery when needed.
• Assist the driver with backing up the truck in tight spaces or difficult environments.
• Perform heavy lifting and assist with sorting and loading materials.
• Navigate streets, alleyways, highways, and construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables in designated areas.

Job Description

The Helper is responsible for supporting key operations within the waste management and recycling industry. This role contributes to the organization's success through strong execution, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to safety, service quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently assist the driver in picking up trash and disposing of it in the truck.
• Operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery when needed.
• Assist the driver with backing up the truck in tight spaces or difficult environments.
• Perform heavy lifting and assist with sorting and loading materials.
• Navigate through streets, alleyways, highways, and construction sites.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables in the truck's designated areas.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 70+ pounds throughout a typical shift.
• Ability to operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery.
• Team player with strong communication skills and a dedication to safety.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
