Job summary

Primary Health Medical Group in Idaho is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to support end users across the organization. You will diagnose and resolve issues, manage support requests, and collaborate with IT peers to improve service quality.

The role emphasizes customer service, proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Office 365, and the ability to work on-call shifts. A driven, team-oriented mindset is essential for success in a growing medical group.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• IS/IT degree, certification, or equivalent experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Idaho Driver's License and proof of insurance required
• A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals certifications or comparable skills desired
• Vaccinations recommended (Influenza, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, TB)

Responsibilities

• Support end users on a variety of issues
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
• Respond to telephone calls, emails, ticket system, and personnel requests for technical support
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions
• Resolve issues related to desktop computing, printing, and basic wired/wireless network
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11, web browsers, Helpdesk ticketing systems, and Office 365
• Collaborate with internal team members to identify support trends
• Recommend workflow changes to improve response time and resolutions
• Assist Network Administrators with inventory and lifecycle management of the desktop environment
• Manage time effectively with minimal supervision
• Maintain composure under pressure and during stress
• Available for rotating on-call shifts (evenings/weekends)

Your day.

As a Helpdesk Technician, you need to know how to:

• Supportend users on a variety of issues
• Identify, research, and resolvetechnical problems

• Resolve issues related to desktop computing, printing, and basic wired/wireless network
• Possessproficiency inMicrosoft Windows 10 and 11, web browsers, Helpdeskticketing systems, and Microsoft Office 2016 as well as Office 365
• Collaborate with internal team members and other technical staff to identify support trends and resolve underlying issues
• Recommend workflow changes to improve first response time, average resolution speed, and escalation for urgent issues
• Assist Network Administrators with the inventory and lifecycle management of the desktop environment
• Effectively manage time to ensure work is done efficiently and accurately with limited or no supervision
• Maintain performance under pressure or opposition (such as time pressure or job ambiguity); handling stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization
• Have availability to take rotating on-call shifts (evenings and weekends)
