Job description

The Senior Network Engineer plays a mission-critical role in maintaining Foxconn’s high-performance network infrastructure. This position focuses on designing, deploying, and optimizing secure and scalable networks that support advanced manufacturing, enterprise IT, and digital transformation goals. As a senior contributor within the IT Infrastructure team, you’ll drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation across global operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable network architectures (wired and wireless)
• Monitor network health and troubleshoot system issues across all layers (L1–L7)
• Maintain secure and redundant network environments for enterprise applications
• Lead network expansion and upgrade initiatives, ensuring business continuity
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors on network projects
• Develop and maintain up-to-date network documentation and configuration standards
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security protocols, and ISO certifications (ISO 9001, 27001, etc.)
• Provide mentorship to junior IT engineers and support teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in network design, implementation, and support
• Advanced English proficiency required (verbal and written)
• Strong knowledge of Cisco systems, routing protocols, and network security

Software & Technical Skills

Advanced experience with:

LAN/WAN configuration and troubleshooting

Firewall systems, VPNs, and load balancers

Network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)

Cisco IOS, SD-WAN, and VoIP configurations

MS Office Suite and IT management tools

• Lead role in managing Foxconn’s global network infrastructure
