Job summary

Roseman University of Health Sciences seeks a Help Desk Technician to keep campus technology running smoothly for students, faculty, and staff. You will troubleshoot issues, image and deploy devices, and provide friendly, professional support across campus locations, including clinics.

You will handle hardware, software, network, printer, and connectivity problems while using the Help Desk system, delivering in-person, remote, and walk-in support with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent).
  • Network+, MCP, or other industry certifications preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 2019/2021/365, Azure environments, imaging software (Macrium and VMware), and wireless networking.
  • Valid Nevada driver's license, insurance, and a good driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting users in a higher education environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve support requests through the Help Desk ticketing system.

  • Maintain and support campus printers, copiers, and other technology equipment.
  • Configure, image, deploy computers, phones, and related hardware.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications and user workstations.
  • Assist with device setup, upgrades, and lifecycle initiatives.
  • Explain technology solutions clearly and professionally.
  • Travel occasionally between Roseman locations and the Roseman Medical Group clinic as needed.
