Job summary

Gellert Global Group seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide prompt technical assistance across multiple sites in New Jersey. You will diagnose hardware/software issues, assist users, and ensure timely resolution while maintaining IT security standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS, experience with Windows OS/Office 365, printers, and a strong customer-service mindset. On-site work in Madison, NJ with relocation considerations is expected.

Summary/Objective

Provide prompt and efficient technical support on computer systems and applications at companies located in Madison, NJ, Elizabeth, NJ, Lakewood, NJ. Troubleshoot problems and communicate on the appropriate action in a customer-oriented manner.

Essential Functions and projects

• Serve as first point of contact for technical assistance in person, via phone, e-mail, Teams, Service Desk
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Research questions using available information resources
• Advise user on issue and resolution process
• Follow standard help desk procedures
• Log all help desk interactions
• Install/configure computers & printers
• Escalate requests to next level support
• Identify and elevate situations requiring urgent attention
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
• Inform management of recurring problems

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with IT or Computer Science major required
• Working knowledge and experience of computer, printers, software, network, IT security, Windows OS, Office 365
• Must be able to move/lift computers, monitors, and printers
• Excellent communication skills, Customer oriented
• Follow up standard procedures before making any changes
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Customer oriented

Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000, plus bonus. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Our company will be relocating to a new corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ in Q1 of 2027. Candidates should be comfortable with this upcoming change in location.
