MEI Rigging & Crating is a professional industrial services company known for our best-in-class service, professionalism, safety focus, quality methods, and skilled team. We provide quality machinery moving services across various industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Data Center, and Construction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services to users of the organization’s computer systems and network, including desktop/laptop and server hardware, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as a first-level problem identification and resolution resource, including answering questions, providing advice, investigating, troubleshooting, and following-up to assist users in solving data processing problems.
  • Mainly work from home, with potential to work at a regional office based on business needs. Preference to reside near Boston or other Southcentral Region offices. Check locations at www.meillc.com/locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent in information technology.
  • At least one (1) year proven experience as Help Desk Support or in a comparable environment supporting multiple locations and time zones.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows 10, Office, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate SQL reporting skills.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Standard office environment, extended periods of sitting, occasional walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
