Help Desk Support Specialist - Hybrid at MEI Industrial Solutions

Join our team as a Help Desk Support Specialist - Hybrid at MEI Industrial Solutions. We are a leading industrial services company dedicated to quality, safety, and professional development. Our team supports clients across various industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Data Centers, and Construction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support for computer systems, network, and hardware troubleshooting.
  2. Assist in configuring and setting up desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
  3. Diagnose and resolve issues related to network, printers, and hardware.
  4. Manage hardware provisioning, imaging, and software installation.
  5. Coordinate with outsourced IT for problem resolution and track issues.
  6. Support and maintain software and hardware systems for employees.
  7. Support TCP/IP networking and troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues.
  8. Assist with office software applications, including Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
  9. Document hardware/software inventory and licensing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in IT.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Help Desk support, supporting multiple locations and remote users.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows 10, and mobile devices.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical info clearly to all audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and independent worker.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SQL reporting.

Physical & Work Environment: Standard office setting, extended sitting, occasional walking, lifting up to 10 pounds. Reasonable accommodations available.

Other Requirements: Ability to work in a team, demonstrate integrity, and pass background and drug screening. Reside near Boston or Southcentral regional offices preferred.
