Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support a federal program in Colorado Springs, CO. This on-site role provides first-level IT support, incident management, and customer service in a 24x7 environment.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years in help desk or service desk roles, experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira), and an active Secret clearance. Full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 0–3+ years in a Help Desk, Service Desk, or similar customer service environment.
• 0–3+ years using incident management/ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work any shift and participate in rotational on-call support.
• Active Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, ticketing systems, and in-person interactions.
• Troubleshoot account creation requests, lockouts, password resets, and general IT issues.
• Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the incident management system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level teams and coordinate communication with stakeholders.
• Support SLAs while participating in shift work and rotational on-call duties in a 24x7x365 environment.
