Job summary

Acme Brick Company is seeking a Help Desk Analyst I to support internal users with hardware, software, and network issues. The role emphasizes efficient incident resolution and strong user service orientation.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware, VPN access, imaging tools, and ticketing systems. An associate degree in CS and at least one year of related experience are preferred. This is an entry-level, safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• We are seeking an Associate degree holder with at least 1 year of related experience in IT support.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts is required.
• Experience with remote support, VPN, Active Directory, imaging tools and ticketing software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests for internal users promptly.
• Update user accounts and perform password resets as needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and escalate when required.
• Document procedures and maintain an asset inventory.

Help Desk Analyst I

Summary

We are seeking a “best in class Help Desk Analyst I to support existing internal network/computer users. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of all hardware, software and network components used by the company. Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, you will nurture the pleasant work environment our people love.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

. This is a safety sensitive position*

• Resolve issues with associates regarding status and closure of incidents/requests
• Manage user account updates/password resets
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and network problems
• Escalate issues to second and third level support teams
• Document procedures, FAQ’s, and inventory of assets

Skills and Experience Required for Success

• Knowledge of current Windows operating systems and current Microsoft Office software
