Job summary

STX in Baltimore seeks an experienced Helmet Production Manager to lead our custom helmet assembly operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency from start to finish. This role oversees molding, assembly, painting, QA, scheduling, inventory, and cross‑department collaboration to bring new helmet models into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in production management within sporting goods or protective equipment.
• Strong knowledge of helmet manufacturing techniques like in-mold construction and polycarbonate shells.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
• Proficient with ERP software (SAP/Oracle) and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage helmet production activities from molding to quality testing.
• Lead and train production staff to meet output and quality goals.
• Analyze processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with procurement.
• Develop production schedules aligned with demand and launches.
