Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Must possess a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• At least 2,000 total flight hours required.
• Must have a minimum of 1,500 helicopter hours.
• At least 1,000 helicopter PIC hours needed.
• A minimum of 1,000 turbine helicopter hours is required.
• Must have 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness, following all FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, and partners.
• Provide shift change information and maintain protocol.
• Accountable for maintaining certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: $102,072 – $112,280 including 15% Geographic Modifier
• 15,000 Sign-on Bonus and Retention Bonus (40,000 after 3 years, with additional bonuses upon completion)
• On-Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensuring aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintaining accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicating and collaborating with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Providing shift change information to the successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Remaining accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training
