Job summary

Global Medical Response in Arizona seeks a Helicopter Pilot to deliver critical medical air transport, working with a medical team to ensure safe patient transfers and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Must hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours; 1,500 Helicopter Hours; 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours; 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours; 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with medical team coordination.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements; maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information and record changes per procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• $94,084 - $103,493 including 6% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• AS350 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
