Job summary

REACH is a Global Medical Response air medical transport service seeking pilots for the REACH program in California. The role offers starting salaries with a 20% geo modifier and substantial bonuses including a $15,000 sign-on and a $40,000 retention plan, plus on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule.

200 night hours minimum and extensive flight hour requirements apply. Applicants must hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and FAA Class II Medical Certificate,

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Must hold a helicopter instrument rating.
• Must hold a FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 2,000 helicopter flight hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• Minimum 1,000 turbine hours.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours.
• Weight limit of 230 pounds with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salaries from $106,511- $117,162 including 20% Geo Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention bonus plan ($40,000 after 42 months, plus additional retention bonuses upon completion of program milestones)

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness
• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Company change board details
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
• 1,000 turbine hours
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided)
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Aircraft Experience

• Previous Airbus AS350/ H125 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.
