Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a skilled Helicopter Pilot for medical air transportation in Lakeport, California. As a pilot, you will work diligently with a team to safely transport patients, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The starting salary ranges from $119,825 to $131,807, inclusive of a 35% geographic modifier. Additional bonuses include a $15K sign-on bonus and a $40K retention bonus after 36 months. Must hold a current FAA Commercial Certificate and maintain ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Must possess a Helicopter instrument rating.
• 2,000 total flight hours and 1,000 helicopter PIC hours needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches.
• Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness
• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Company change board details
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
• 1,000 turbine hours
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided)
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Aircraft Experience

• Previous Airbus AS350/ H125 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.
