Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for REACH customers. The role includes a 7/7 schedule, on-duty housing, and strong sign-on and retention bonus opportunities.

Candidates must hold a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate and meet extensive helicopter hour requirements. You'll work with medical experts to transport patients safely, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation while coordinating with dispatch and teams

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 total flight hours required.
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours required.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours required.
• 1,000 turbine hours required.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours.
• 230 lb weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely with medical team to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information per protocol for record keeping.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Starting salaries from $115,387- $126,926 including 30% Geo Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention bonus plan ($40,000 after 42 months, plus additional retention bonuses upon completion of program milestones)
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness
• Maintain accurate Company and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Company change board details
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
• 1,000 turbine hours
• Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided)
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Aircraft Experience

• Previous Airbus AS350/ H125 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent
