Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transport services. The role requires a current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, and a valid Class II medical certificate, plus substantial helicopter flight hours.

This full-time position offers a salary range with a 25% geo modifier, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, on-duty housing, and a 7-on/7-off schedule. Ideal candidates will have 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to transport customers safely.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and comply with FAR/AEL requirements and housekeeping duties.
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team per recording protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
